Chefy is a food delivery platform that connects customers with home chefs, restaurants, and delivery riders. Chefy facilitates ordering, payment processing, and delivery coordination but does not prepare food or act as a restaurant.

2. Eligibility

Chefy reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

• Be at least 18 years old
• Provide accurate and complete account information
• Have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. All activities conducted through your account are your responsibility. Notify Chefy immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

Chefy may suspend or terminate accounts that misuse the platform or violate these Terms.

4. Services Provided

Chefy enables:

• Customers to browse and order food
• Vendors to list menus, manage pricing, and fulfill orders
• Riders to accept and complete deliveries
• Admin oversight to ensure platform quality and safety

Chefy does not guarantee uninterrupted service and may update or modify features at any time.

5. Orders and Payments

Chefy is not responsible for pricing errors, menu inaccuracies, or preparation delays caused by vendors.

• Prices are set by vendors
• Payments are processed through secure third party payment providers
• Orders cannot be modified once confirmed unless permitted by the vendor
• Refunds are subject to Chefy’s Refund Policy

6. Food Safety and Quality

Chefy does not inspect kitchens or guarantee food quality. Customers with allergies must review ingredient details and contact vendors directly before ordering.

7. Delivery Services

Delivery times are estimates only. Chefy is not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, vendor readiness, or customer availability.

8. Vendor Responsibilities

Chefy may suspend vendors who receive repeated complaints or violate platform standards.

• Provide accurate menus, pricing, and descriptions
• Prepare food safely and legally
• Fulfill accepted orders promptly
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

9. Rider Responsibilities

Riders operate as independent service providers unless otherwise stated.

• Complete deliveries professionally and safely
• Follow delivery instructions accurately
• Comply with traffic and safety laws
• Maintain valid licenses and insurance where required

10. Prohibited Conduct

Violations may result in immediate account termination.

• Misuse or abuse the platform
• Provide false or misleading information
• Violate laws or regulations
• Harass vendors, riders, or other users
• Attempt to interfere with platform security

11. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, logos, and software related to Chefy are owned by Chefy or its licensors. You may not copy, distribute, or use Chefy content without written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Chefy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Chefy’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant order
• Chefy does not guarantee continuous or error free service

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chefy and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

• Chefy is not liable for food quality, health issues, or vendor actions
• Chefy is not responsible for delivery delays or failures beyond reasonable control
• Chefy’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user for the relevant order

14. Termination

Chefy may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms or for platform security reasons. Users may stop using Chefy at any time.

15. Changes to Terms

Chefy may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of the platform after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the applicable operating jurisdiction where Chefy is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
